 Ecotrade has focused the important aspect that, because of ecological problems, the development of cement manufacturing with products other than clinker, is inevitable.
National regulations are constantly changing and the use of by-products for the manufacturing of cement is going to sensibly increase year by year even in the manufacturing of ready-mix and concrete.
The aim of the Company is to meet the cement production with the ecological point of view according to two important and objective advantages:
- Reduction in the CO2 emission (Slag for cement use doesn't need to be burned)
- Reduction in excavation works connected with the extraction of raw materials.
Every manufacturing plant, which considers itself modern and progressive, has the duty and the need to integrate itself in the least traumatic way into the environmental context and the community in which it operates.
 It should be emphasized that, increasing taxation on CO2 emissions, are nowadays pushing more and more countries towards an environmental-friendly politic damage and are doing all they can to find the economic resources to solve these problems.
With regard to the extraction of aggregates for the manufacturing of cement some critical situations already exist and in a near future the plan for new quarries will be blocked. In this sight, the use of granulated blast furnace slag and other alternative materials can effectually extend the life of every quarry connected to a cement plant.
Ecotrade, which has been operating for years in the area of ecology and therefore has acquired a particular environmental culture and sensitivity, has had no difficulty in detecting these signals and transforming them into a really and truly operational activity.
