An integral part of our cement-oriented network, Officina dell’Ambiente operates in the field of environmental sustainability, with a range of products (Matrix Family) obtained from the industrial treatment of the bottom ash generated during the incineration of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW).

These products, previously known as Secondary Raw Materials (SRM) are now classified as End of Waste (EOW) and are used as a replacement of newly-extracted raw materials in the production of cement and other building materials. With the Matrix Family range, ODA is now a leading player in all sectors of the building industry in general, placing a particular focus on those projects which, for their size and prestige, are now driving the environmental sustainability trend on the Italian construction scene. Matrix is currently the only manmade aggregate in Europe to have obtained the EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) and thanks to this many companies with which ODA works can now aim to achieve the same result with their Matrix Inside recycled product ranges.
